Paper & Board Coating

  • HYPOD™ Polyolefin Dispersions provide oil and grease resistance (OGR), moisture barrier and heat sealability to various polar and non-polar substrates.
  • They are not manufactured or formulated with fluorochemicals and are compatible with processes for applying water-based coatings.
  • HYPOD Polyolefin Dispersions are particularly suitable for pet food bags, pizza boxes and sandwich wrappers†.

Flex Packaging/Converters

  • HYPOD Polyolefin Dispersions serve as a laminating adhesive layer on films and foils and offer new tie layer and primer possibilities by delivering good adhesion between paper, foil and plastic layers.
  • HYPOD Polyolefin Dispersions can be applied as heat seal layers, delivering very low heat seal initiation temperatures. The water-based converting process provides excellent conditions for film coatings:
    • much thinner coating applications,
    • higher line speeds,
    • low temperature flexibility and
    • the ability to coat in patterns.
